Our life is like a Monstrance, made precious and precise by the Creator, for a single purpose:
For adoration of God Himself; to be filled by Him and only Him, since nothing else can fill and satiate…no, nothing can satisfy- perhaps we are deceived by a moment’s consolation of the world, or the pleasure of the body, but it runs out, it runs dry. How many times must we endure this attractive decay until we run back, open to His presence, so that He may enter us and shine through us on the Altar of His love?
Singleness of purpose…for adoration of God Himself: to be witnesses and living instruments of Him before all men, and to serve Him in perfect union with the precious and Sacred Body and Blood of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ!

HAIL MARY!
Time flies and July is coming too quick! God’s will be done.
The Vigil of Pentecost was extraordinary~! All the MC priests and seminarians got together in front of one the chapels we serve with hundreds of neighbors, who praised, prayed, shared, sang, jumped, adored in the middle of the street (closed off for the feast) from 6pm until 3am!!! UFFFF! It was so powerful and beautiful, especially the Eucharistic procession through the people and the 2 hour adoration, followed by the Holy Mass at 1 am.
The fruits of the Spirit have been obvious since then within and outside of our community. Thanks be to God!
And then…CORPUS CHRISTI, which is celebrated (following tradition) on Thursday after Holy Trinity Sunday here in Mexico. Almost 3 hour Eucharistic procession though the hilly dirt roads of the outskirts of Tijuana (Ranchito, Cañon de las Palmas), where we (candidates and aspirants) do most of our apostolate. Br. Sebastian connected a stereo system to the car battery and tied the speakers on top of the 20 passenger van. I got to ride in the van, behind Jesus and the people in procession, playing songs and singing through a microphone with some of the kids from the Sunday “choir”. MC style! Jajaja (hahaha). I was really honored and excited by the opportunity to address the neighbors through the powerful sound-mobile speakers and invite them to come and “make something beautiful for God”, to come and adore, and to literally follow Jesus, the Word made flesh dwelling amongst us! POWERFUL! Like a glove with 200, 000 fingers. (Daniel pops, I do not think even you have heard of such thing! That is one big glove!)
All Glory to God! ALABENLO!
Ooh! Did I mention some of our MC Sisters came? Make that 250,000 fingers!
The procession ended at sundown in San Jose’s chapel in Ranchito and the Solemn Mass illumined the night!

So all is well in the Lord. There is peace and joy, in the midst of the great battle and the increasing intensity of the MC life, with all its demands and graces. Just as the Grace is evident, so is the cunning attack of the dragon, who wishes to turn us away from the call of the Lord. But we are sticking together like brothers, praying more and more and slowly being purified so that we may better satiate Jesus’ thirst through the Heart of our Lady. It is a long road, but the Lord tells us not to worry...we try to obey, right? Please pray for us!

If You truly mean that “just to be with you, I’d do anything, there’s no price I would not pay, no” (and You have, by the Love Crucified), then, what would, what will, what could I do to receive You, embrace You…to remain in You?
I need only to die…there is just no other way.
Die in life and in You live; in Your Love!
You are to become everything to me…it is Your desire. It requires no wisdom, for You created me and nothing else will suffice. You spoke the Divine Word and it was done, the Divine language was uttered and I came to be…and so I cannot be without You, without the Word, and outside the language of Your Love!
I know I must enter the metamorphosis, the transfiguration, the cocoon, the womb of Your Presence, the wounds, the dark holes of Your humanity so completely that You may show me and teach me how to open my wings in Your Will alone and be totally free in Your liberating Love!

Saint Alphonsus of Liguori said: “I knelt recognizing that I am nothing, and I rose a Priest forever.”

Brief Meditations on the Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary
1. BAPTISM OF THE LORD
-“…a mighty wind swept over the waters.” Genesis 1, 2
-Jesus entered the water of the Jordan and blesses the rivers; now they have become fountains and springs of life- their purpose has been revealed so that the souls of men may enter the life of Christ and His Sacred Body, the Church, through them.
-Behold the rivers of life-giving water! The waters gushing from the hearts of all, where the Holy Spirit has entered and where Jesus dwells.
-“…and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my beloved Son; with You I AM well pleased’.” (Luke 3, 21)
Listen to the voice of thirst within, calling on the Spirit that has made You His forever! “Remain in Me as I remain in you…without me you can do nothing” (John 15, 4 and 5)

2. WEDDINGS OF CANAA
-Jesus arrives with His Mother, full of Grace…the Spirit is overflowing in this place. Come to the weddings of the Lamb!
-The wedding is blest by such Divine and fully human presence.
-Mary asks Jesus in humility; she who has “kept those things within her heart”, now sees the need and does not hesitate to intercede. She runs through the nations collecting the small candles of hope, faith and love in the hearts, to turn to her Son the King and place before His feet the thirst of wine we so desperately need Him to quench.
-It is not His time, but it is done, He wills it…the immense love of a Son.
-Mary goes to the servants; A slave amongst servants and grants them the wisdom of salvation: “Do as He tells you!”
-Behold, the WORD! All that is set before the Word, is transformed…the water, the blest union of marital Love…and the intercession and obedience of the Mother is forever confirmed!

3. PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM
-The steps of Jesus, in His humble sandals, turn every place into Holy Land.
-The thirsty souls do all within their reach to follow…
-From His cloak emanates the Grace that destroys all lies and deceit, but see how many live with trust on what is destroyed, ignoring where their freedom lies.
-What happens in the heavens when the Son of Man is preaching on Earth? All creation trembles! As if heaven could be stretched and pulled towards the land every time this, the Man, opens His mouth to proclaim the Glory of His Father, of His Love. Is this not the will of God in those who feed us with His word day after day?
-From His words rivers of life-giving water and light overflow, and whoever listens follows, whoever follows is transformed! Kingdom and Glory!

4. TRANSFIGURATION
-Jesus chooses His company and they depart climbing the mountain. Like a meteor entering the dense atmosphere, burning against all forces Jesus ascends Tabor…the disciples walk behind unharmed and unaware, in the shelter of the Lord, who foreshadows His climb to Calvary where all is to be transformed!
-In prayer Jesus is revealed; most beautiful light and truly too pure. The bright, perfect purity granted to the heart that prays.
-The cloud and again the Voice: “This is my beloved Son, with Whom I AM well pleased; listen to Him.” How to listen outside away from Him…and so there is only one place we must seek to be at all time: His presence.
-A foretaste, a small nibble of Heaven, and Peter is not wrong in saying: “Lord, it is good that we are here”
-It is Emmaus; it is Jesus living and present, and heaven itself for an instant. “At the name of Jesus every shall bow…” And it all seems to vanish in the midst of fear, and our failings… “but Jesus CAME and TOUCHED THEM, saying: ‘RISE, AND BE NOT AFRAID.’ And when the disciples raised their eyes, they saw no one else but JESUS ALONE.” They saw nothing else, but a humble piece of bread. Bread alone.

5. INSTITUTION OF THE EUCHARIST
-“I HAVE EAGERLY DESIRED TO EAT THIS PASSOVER WITH YOU BEFORE I SUFFER…” How much rejoicing in the midst of bitterness! O Lord, You have established this to be the rule when we enter and remain in Your presence!
-Joy, in knowing that His surrender was already beginning, and it was giving us Himself in a way that could remain with us until the end of times! How wise are your ways O Lord!
-His Holy hands raise the bread, the fruit of the labor of men who has fallen, he raises humanity itself…and there in its simple and imperfect existence He thanks the Father and He blesses it.
-The everlasting words, “This is my Body…this is my Blood,” and His surrender without hesitation.
-The disciples have received and taken His Body, and they have tasted and drank His Blood. What celestial sweetness! But there, His Passion has begun, and they who partake of Him, have entered in it consuming the Body and Blood to be immolated for Love!
-The disciples have consumed and have been consumed by the Lord that resurrected and whose Body glorified, has ascended to His eternal dwelling place, IN the Father! Thus, the disciples enter the Dwelling Place of Eternity through the consumption of the Body and Blood that fills the heavens with Love! Heavenly Explosion of the soul!
O Lord, how marvelous are Your Works!
