a thought: MY CROSS...MY BROKENNESS

LORD, today this is our sorrow!
That your LOVE is so unfair!

That You love us so much, and will do anything and everything so that we may receice this Love and be enabled to love You and love others! Even to break us and grant us the grace of sharing in Your Son's passion and bitter-sweet cross, so that we may rise with Him! Even to allow us to choose a path that will crush us only so that we may open our eyes and see that all we really needed to do was say: "Lord, save me; Lord, help me...Lord, forgive me...thank you Lord!

Yesterday i realized, but today i live the truth of Your Love...the fact that You have done so much through me, although i have never let You do anything in me, and i have believed for so long that it was i who did it all! And yet you remanin on the Cross for me, saying

"I THIRST".... so much love, how can it be!

Today this is my sorrow; but one sorrow whose tears are nothing compare to the tears of the joy and peace that your mercy has brought for all of Your children!

May we be ONE with JESUS in this pilgrimage, and may Our Lady of Confidence grant us the embrace that she first gave to her little Son!
